Franco Impellizzeri

Professor Impellizzeri moved back full-time to sports as Professor in Sport and Exercise Science and Medicine at the UTS Faculty of Health in 2018. He has scientific publications (>200) and book chapters in the area of sports science and orthopedics. He is member of the editorial boards of various scientific journals including Editor in Chief of Science and Medicine in Football. He is fellow of the European College of Sport Sciences and a member of STORK (The Society for Transparency, Openness, and Replication in Kinesiology), a member of the Australasian Epidemiology Association, and collaborator of the Peer Community In (Health & Movement Sciences). Professor Impellizzeri plans to develop more research in the area of injury epidemiology while continuing to work on training, testing, and monitoring athletes.
